Refund from very

I thought I was in the red so I paid the amount they said my balance was. To now realise I am actually in credit £425 .
How do I go about asking for the money to be put back into my bank as I am not going to be using the account again. You can’t email them you can’t get through on the phone and the web chat is like talking to a robot

You should always keep your own records of any debt you have.  Overpaying by £425 doesn't sound like you have much of an idea what you had outstanding.
  • I was but they’re very slow updating your account . It took 3 weeks on their app to show I had made a payment. I received a PPI so I used the money to pay off all my debt . So please don’t make me feel as though I’m stupid

I can't help how you feel and I did not imply you were stupid, I said you should keep your own records, then you will ALWAYS know how much is outstanding.   Them being slow 'updating' the account doesn't cause you to overpay if you know what is outstanding.
