Shark vacuum cleaners

Do Shark vacuum cleaners tend to fluctuate in price quite a bit? Was looking to get a particular model (NZ801UKT) which is currently at the full price of £349 pretty much everywhere. Is it worth my while just waiting for the price to come down to £200 or so or should I just get it?

Yeah, they regularly discount their machines throughout the year.

It would be helpful to the OP if you actually posted links, particularly as the one in Argos isn't the true pet mode the OP was asking about.

You can also get an official Shark refurbished NZ801UKT on ebay for £149.

I'd personally go for the latter.

We bought one refurbished from Ebay and it was like new but did not have the original box, bought an extra battery later as we found it frustrating when one ran out of puff.
  • Thanks for replies! We actually went for one of the stick models in the end - had the pet hair facility we wanted and was a bit cheaper still. Fingers crossed it'll do the job.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'

Which one did you get? The stick versions have been known to be troublesome and not as good as the full upright models. Also, all the "pet hair facility" entails is an extra small, turbo brush attachment.
