They are potentially extremely valuable.  Mine safeguarded my home and my pension.
Subject to them being set up correctly, and any children not being disadvantaged, they will be given full weight by the court.

I'm not saying they can't work but there is nothing more water tight than a complete and final divorce. Not sure what difference a curtain ring on a finger vs officially no curtain ring makes to be honest.
