Can't receive texts but can get calls.

in Mobiles
A friend can send me texts or phone me and I can phone her but she doesn't get any texts I send.

Anybody experienced this or have an explanation please.
Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

    Can you text others? Is she on a different network? Sometimes there can be delays when a new number range is used by a mobile network.

    It can only be one of 2 possibilities:

    1) Her phone is faulty in which case it will not receive text messages from ANY phone (even though it is able to send). Have you asked them whether they can receive text from anyone else?

    or

    2) She has blocked your messages from appearing on her phone. I am aware that some phones (possibly Samsungs) allow text messages from a designated number to be blocked/ignored so that it does not appear on the phone.

    Hope this is of some help.

    Do you get a text back saying your text couldn't be delivered?

    She can get texts from other people.

    Wouldn't be that either because she was sending me texts but when I replied she wasnt getting them, so then she would ring me.

    No that's what I can't understand.
    I wonder if as reddwarf said that maybe she has inadvertently blocked my texts but not calls.
