Morning all
Dull and overcast here and more rain due later, the washing will have to go on the airer today. Window cleaner coming this morning he does mine and then round to mums to do hers.
Will take the dogs to the park later another lady has joined us for our walks its so nice to chat to other people as we are walking along, she is a dog walker so often has two or three dogs with her, the other day there were seven dogs all walking and playing its so lovely to see them all.
Picking my shopping up at lunch time and I might nip into Lidl as well as its Greek week and they have some lovely looking bits, I will come home and put it away and maybe have a nana nap this afternon as I had a disturbed night.
I spoke to a friend from work yesterday and they are making more cutbacks all temporary staff and some permanent ones being laid off, I am told my job is safe for now but its a bit worrying.
Snoozer great news about Steve xx

Morning, hugs if you need one. HH so glad your hearing aids work so well, its a pain being deaf and having to rely on NHS aids. Gers pleased the appointment went well and hope todays is successful and you had a quiet day. Snoozer, pleased that Steves tests came back ok.
Cannot make my mind up about washing the towels, it looks like rain, although DB says it will not rain.......Gardener comes today, I will take him over to meet my neighbour. We have hit a block with her care, the local team says she does not need help except to shower every other day. She can manage everything else. They want to charge her £28 an hour!! That works out at £360 a month.......and she is on a pension. She gets AA at the lower rate but that will not cover the care cost. So we have to look elsewhere.
DB will be out in the garden shortly, the grass was cut yesterday. The feed and weed put down on the grass seems to be doing its job.
Fiah and chips tonight.

Morning, dull and grey here, not raining here though.Snoozer lovely to hear some good news.Hester,I'm pleased your hearing aids have been worth the wait & make your life easier.SM delivery due shortly- I hope! Last week it didn't turn up so we had to go and collect it, turned out the van was stuck in gear and hit a wall so it had to return to the store and put the shopping in the click and collect. We had scampi & chips for tea so very easy, not had it for ages. Might be the turn of the flatbreads tonightThe local news isn't good, our town has 1 of the highest cases of the Indian variant and there are mumblings about extending our lockdown. Apart from about 3 weeks last summer we have been in the highest tier measures or lockdown constantly since last March. People who have followed the guidelines are getting very fed up nowRR hope your job is safe.I'm hoping DH gets a minute today to take my donations to the CS, the bags are piling up.Take care everyone x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning all, I feel more me today but I still don't know what hit me, thankfully taff's hammer worked last night, although it was probably a sledge hammer 😁This morning I'm waiting for an As*a delivery, everything is present and correct except they are sending a smaller punnet of strawberries. I'm not a great lover of strawberries but I've eaten more than ever during this pandemic, very strange.DD's mattress arrived early at 9am yesterday so we decided to make a detour on the way home to have a look at the jab place ready for next week, we had an idea where it was but wanted to make sure. Plenty of parking but only about 20 cars in the car park, it seemed very quiet which surprised me as it's on the outskirts of the city, I thought it would be really busy.Mr Fix It had his sp letter this morning so we have to sort that out online this afternoon, hope it's a straightforward form like mine was.Sorry for the latish post but it's been interruption after interruption this morning. I started this before 9.30 !Snoozer that's good news. Good luck to Steve for Sunday.TA poor Sparkle, hope you managed to get her into the basket without needing a plaster or two !Gers good luck for the dental treatment today.Bella hugs to you, it must be horrible not knowing where to call home.RedRuby fingers crossed that your job is safe for when you want to returnHugs to all, including the MIA's and healing vibes to the poorly ones.Take care allnan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently14
