    Yes, but it sounds like Homebase are claiming the return can only be made by the OP standing there in the store bearing their faulty lawnmower. Rather than e.g. sending it back by courier.
    I would imagine that they will want to see proof of purchase as well. So sending it back by courier & expecting said courier to stand and wait while they look into it is a bit much..
    Could be that they will send for repair, and not replace.
