eBay: How to refund a refund?

I hope I'm doing this right, apologies if I'm not, I'm new to the forum and I'm still trying to figure it out. 

At the beginning of April I ordered two items and then another two items from the same seller, none of the items arrived and I requested a refund, they refunded me for only one item. I sent three separate refund requests, one for each item and today they have refunded me for the last two, but sent a message to me claiming that the first two items have now been delivered and they want me to refund them for the first refund.

I'm not sure whether the items have been delivered since my mail goes to my local post office, I will check in the morning. If they have been delivered how do I refund a refund?

If they haven't been delivered what do I do next? The tracking number they gave me never worked so I'm not sure how they know that the items have been delivered but I will check in the morning and would be happy to refund their refund if they have been delivered. I'll just be glad when this is over, it's been a month since I made the purchase.

    I would suggest you check to see if the items have been delivered first.  If they are then you don't refund, you need to pay again.    How did you pay originally?
