Just had offer accepted! Yay! Need to instruct solicitors now. I posted another thread recently about costs and breakdown etc. Ackroyd Legal (online with London offices) Have given a quote. £600 less than the local firms. Has anyone ever used them before/experiences?

Are you sure you want to go with the cheap option (£600 is a big discount) for probably the most important and most expensive purchase of your life?
Would probably be a pile em high sell em cheap type operation. So expect to find it difficult to get hold of your solicitor, things might drag on longer than desired.0 -
Rather polarised views on Google. I expect that's common for overstretched firms - simple cases will progress without issue, the most mildly complex cases will slow to a crawl or not be executed effectively.0
