Frozen Bitcoin Wallet

I've been quoted in excess of £400 to unfreeze my wallet before I can use it again as it's not been used since I bought 2 Bitcoins. Is this a scam?

It was a scam / spam post doing the rounds on social media. Bitcoin has dropped as per above post. 

However the lesser known ethereum has doubled in value since I invested in it in January but any crypto is high risk so don’t take that as a recommendation.

I have been contacted by a company called RECWALLET about a frozen Bit coin wallet I may have, it would appear I have several bitcoins that I purchased many years ago and to be fair, I cannot remember. I have spoken with them, but deep down I feel it's a scam, has anybody had any dealings or are there recognized companies who can find frozen bit coin wallets

How can you not remember buying bitcoins?
