i would start a new thread on credit file pageahmara said:Hi any update from anyone? I have a similar problem too. Default marked on my credit record from an unknown account and Eon can not produce any bills or paperwork related to it. Trying to get an answer from them is like hitting your head against a brick wall. This is causing a lot of difficulties for me with my mortgage. They should not be allowed to behave like this - where is the regulator? We shouldn't be reduced to posting on web forums for help!0 -
I got my incorrect records removed. I logged a dispute with Equifax and hassled EON regularly. It all depends who you get on the phone, some staff very helpful, others not so much. It took a few weeks for everything to get sorted, but it did. I had to get an email from EON explaining it was a mistake also for my lender to be satisfied. Do no try and get a written/posted letter, you'll be waiting forever. Apparently I've had 2 posted to me since January, they still haven't arrived.ahmara said:Hi any update from anyone?
