Morning all
The sun is trying to come out here and we are promised a good day so washing is in and will be hung out for a while. The pups will get there usual walk to the park this morning and over the fields this afternoon.
Yesterday I did my most hated job and washed my car, im not very good at it and I have left loads of smears over it but it does look better, I then hovered it out and cleaned the windows so it looks a lot better, I also washed the seat protector which I can put back in today, its supposed to protect the seat from muddy paws but they still manage to get the seats grubby !!
Pork chops for dinner with cubed garlic potatoes and some green veg. DW needs emptying and a quick tidy round, I also need to go to the post office and return a parcel.
I heard from Marie yesterday unfortunatly she is back in hospital with a nasty uti but is hoping for more treatment once it has cleared up, she passed on her love to you all xx
Florence I spent my summers as a child in Ramsgate my aunt lived there and us children were put on a coach by mum and told not to talk to anyone and sit near the driver, my aunt would be at the bus stop in Ramsgate to pick us up, we had fab summers playing on the beaches and wandering round such good memories.
Gers glad mum seems more settled xx
Poppy sorry the news was not better x
Have good days all xx12 -
poppy, sorry you've had such bad news.Rosy, I made them, equal quantities of plain yoghurt and either self raising or plain with baking powder flour [I haven't got SR only plain] and a bit of salt. I used zero fat fage greek yoghurt. I needed to add just a tiny bit more yoghurt because the flour was quite dry, kneaded it a little bit, rolled it out very thin [ you need a well floured board and pin for that] and cooked in a dry frying pan on a medium heat. The bubbles start forming and when one side is the brown you like, flip it over. That second side won't get as brown, only in bits, because the heat from cooking the first side will puff up the bread. I used 120g of flour and that made four flatbreads.I had a very long conversation with Nelski before about the pros and cons of making your own flatbreads and tortillas and while I have made tortillas for quite a while now, I'd never tried a flatbread. Honestly, couldn't get over how tasty it was and how ridiculously simple.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi13

Not really sure what is wrong but I do feel very cba and knowing the challenges others are going through makes me realise I shouldn't be feeling this way
Hugs to all

Thinking of all who are poorly and looking after unwell folk.
Mr F has gone off for his 2nd jab.
Mr F said before he left - do you want me to put up the ironing board for you? He puts it up to save me bending. Had to remind him - washing basket is overflowing until new machine arrives tomorrow so no ironing to do.
Any Archers fans here - Alice story line is very well written.
Sunny here.
