Annoying-advice please!!

I've just been offered a cracking balance transfer deal on my two existing cards. Was planning to get the money paid into another card (with no current debt on it) and then get the resulting credit from that and put it in a high interest account (in other words, be a tart!)

Problem-I've been told by the card I would be paying into that they will only pay small amounts of credit directly to me. Larger amounts will be paid back to the source they were received from. They say this is to combat money laundering but it may also be because they want to prevent tarts!

Even just closing that account, they still say the credit would go back to source. This is a bummer because the deal would have made me £300 interest in 6 months. I only have one other card I can use and I remember them moaning that they wouldn't do this kind of thing again when I last tarted

Ideas?

That's a great bit of advice Clapton-thanks. Have just opened an account. The deal I was offered only stands for today (not just a sales pitch) but hopefully when my new card comes I'll get close to or the same offer again-will just need to wait and see! Thanks again
