Hi all,
having a nightmare here so hoping for advice.
looking to sell my property and with the equity in my property clear some debts and out a deposit down.
I have debts and my other half completed an IVA in October 2019 (it’s come off his file).
Can anyone reccomend a broker that can help and not muck us about?

What do you mean by muck us about? With that recent an IVA, surely it's a hard ask to get a bank to lend?0

Our IVA finished in February 2019, and we have just been able to get a new mortgage with Halifax at 1.65% fixed for 5 years. The mortgage should be ending in 8 years so the remaining 3 years at a higher rate is not a major concern. Our IVA company put us in touch with a broker. Our payments (for the first 5 years) will be £492 per month whereas our payments on the previous mortgage (taken out when we were in serious debt) were £807 per month. A saving of £315 per month on exactly the same amount and duration.0

No one will recommend a broker, just call a couple of whole of market brokers local to you and ask if they have placed an ex iva-er recently.
Although the fact you are having a nightmare suggests you have already spoken to some brokers. Who have your tried already, Estate Agent ones or approached the high street lenders?
