Nil Mortgage Valuation

I am currently in the process of purchasing my first home, an ex council house. On viewing the house we looked for any cracks etc for structural damage and couldn’t see any, yet my mortgage valuation has come back as £0 due to wall tie issues- I have not yet received any further information but is this something they will still consider lending on if the work gets done or if a quote is given?
My mortgage advisor hasn’t given me any clear advice and I reeaaaallly want this house!
