Completion Statement from Solicitors Share Ownership Purchase

Hi All,
First time buyer here due to complete on my shared ownership purchase on Friday. I have received my completion statement today to find that I have been invoiced for legal fees for the Housing Association's Solicitors in the sum of over £700. I was of course aware there would be surplus costs to my own solicitors fees such as advanced rent and service charge, but this was not documented on the estimate I received from the solicitors, nor to my knowledge at any point was I made aware I would be responsible for the Housing Association Legal Fees. Does this sound correct or am I just being knaive to think that I should have been told this in advance?
Thanks

Someone has to pay for it, as the transaction isn't happening for their benefit.
Ask your solicitor to explain why you are paying rather than the vendor - it was probably in some paperwork somewhere.1 -
Yes this is correct. I had the same. It was in the initial documents i received from my solicitor. She said she wouldn't know costs until completion but suggested i keep £800 aside to cover it1
