Oh, and just in case it isn't widely understood - Suttons is owned by T&M, who are in turn owned by a series of opaque Holding Companies.0

Update
I Contacted Sutton on the same day I did the original post to express my 'concerns'. My expectation was that they would not reply, they didn't let me down! I would hope that the Team from MSE read these posts and think carefully before they decide to 'promote' a Sutton or Thompson & Morgan offer given that it seems that there are a good number of unhappy customers waiting for orders or indeed cancelling.0 -

Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1 -
My plugs turned up yesterday, battered and at best 2cm high.. I thought they were for a kids dolls House! Lost for words and now plants. Shocked.😤 50 years ago my mother was ordering from Sutton's and I have always regarded them as reputable, the offer here, the delays and the quality are nothing short of a rip off. No more.1

I should have updated my comment too to say that I did at least get a refund, out of the plants I got only one is even still alive but it is scrawny and scraggly and I don't think it's ever going to get strong enough to flower (and it's in such a mess I can't even tell what it is)0

Is it because so many people are now ordering them so they are growing them to late in the year. I had some earlier in the year from Parkers and they was very good I then ordered some garden ready plants in April to be delivered end of May and still nothing0

I've now had an email from Parkers selling garden ready plug plants with delivery of 7 days but they can't deliver mine ordered in April0

I received mine 2 days ago and its a joke what I received. I wouldn't of wanted them if they gave them away let alone £20 Inc postage. Some of the plugs slots were empty as they had shrivelled up and vanished. What was there were very weak maybe 2cm in length. I soaked them in the tray then planted into fresh compost and they don't look great at all. Sent an email in hope for a refund. I'll try and add a photo later.0
