RULES

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Bauer Media (“Gem 106 Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at station.co.uk/general-terms-conditions) apply to ’Ninja Warrior UK’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 10.05.21 at 00:00 and will close 05.07.21 at 00:00.  (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is [Gem 106 Radio].

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Competition

1.1 To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to https://planetradio.co.uk/gem-106/ and register their details. Online entry will open on 10.05.21 at 00:00 and will close 05.07.21 at 00:00. 
1.2 The winner will be selected at random and will be notified via email and telephone.

Arrival: Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to session start time to allow sufficient time for check-in, arrival less than 15 minutes prior to session start time may result in missing part of your session and late arrival may result in your booking being moved to the next available session. We are unable to extend your session to make up for any lost time due to late arrival. Our car park is free of charge for up to three hours.

Participation: The activities are physically demanding and require a degree of strength, agility and stamina. All participants must be reasonably fit, in good health and free from any adverse medical condition. All participants are subject to the age, height and weight restrictions for each activity and stated on the Ninja Warrior Licensee website. Participants are advised to use the park and the obstacles within their ability. If you are unsure as to whether you can complete a manoeuvre, you should not attempt it. All participants must read, understand and abide by the following ‘Ninja Code’ to enter the obstacles. 

• Ninja gloves are mandatory. A Ninja with sore hands is half a Ninja. Protect your hands and swing longer
• We strongly recommend you warm up your body / muscles before entering the runs 
• Always watch out for other Ninja’s before attempting any obstacle
• Make sure there is enough distance between yourself and the Ninja in front of you before you start the run
• Give way to the faster Ninja
• Always stay within your means when attempting all obstacles
• If there is a foam pit under the obstacle you are attempting, make sure that it is clear of other Ninjas before you attempt it
• Only Ninja’s over the height of 1.25m are permitted to use the jump platform onto the airbag
• When jumping from the platform onto the airbag, always land on your bum or back. No Ninja flips please
• Only one Ninja to jump at a time from the platform onto the airbag. Make sure the airbag is clear of other Ninja’s before you jump
• Weight limit is 20 stone for all obstacles
• Staff are there to provide guidance and safety advice only, any physical assistance must be provided by a trained professional Ninja only
• All Ninja’s must wear suitable footwear (e.g. trainers) no bare feet or flip flops.

Ninja Warrior reserves the right to refuse admittance to participants or to remove a participant should Ninja Warrior deem it necessary to do so. This includes a participant who does not comply with the site rules or instructions of any Ninja Warrior personnel, or who’s behaviour is considered unsafe to themselves or others.

Supervision: Children under the age of five years must have a supervising adult on the equipment with them at all times. Children under the age of twelve years must have a supervising adult in the facility for the duration of their visit.
Spectators are free of charge to view from the café. Spectators are not permitted onto the park without a valid spectator wristband (1 per booking), and do so at their own risk.

Photography: Guests are welcome to take photo’s during their visit, please ensure this is only of your own group.

Clothing: All participants to ensure that they are dressed appropriately. The following shall apply:

• Trainers/Sports footwear to be worn
• Long hair must be tied back
• No belts, jewellery or other sharp items of clothing that may cause damage to yourself, the equipment or other participants.

The Ninja Warrior UK Licensee will not be responsible for any damage to or loss of clothing or other personal items resulting from participation in the Activities.

CANCELLATIONS
Cash refunds will not be provided.Ninja Warrior Licensee requires 7 days notice before the original booked start time to provide a full credit voucher for any cancellations. 14 days notice is required for cancellations where  the original booking was for 5 or more participants.

Ninja Warrior Licensee shall be entitled to cancel your booking at any time. In the event that Ninja Warrior Licensee decides to cancel your booking it shall use its reasonable endeavours to notify you as soon as possible. In the event of cancellation under this point, you shall be entitled to transfer your booking to another date by time or to another Activity, but no other compensation or refund shall be payable by Ninja Warrior Licensee.

Payments made by debit or credit card will be refunded to the same card.

DATA PROTECTION

Names, email addresses, and/or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to the prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize. Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry.
