Miscalculation on PCP discovered after delivery

From your pp it’s obvious you’re not able to make up the £11k shortfall, so make that clear to them.Explain that their error induced you into agreeing to the new contract as it appeared affordable, but obviously at double the cost it isn’t.I’d suggest that they rollback the contract and return your previous car to you, as that is literally all you’re financially able to do.Since they’ll then have to take the £ hit on the new car no longer being new, they may come up with some other suggestions, but be careful of over-stretching your budget.4

Given, according to the OP, the deal started in 2019 I can't imagine (or at least hope) they still have his PXian16527 said:
Will the garage cancel you agreement and have they still got your other car to revert the deal if possible? I dont know if this can be done. You dont say when this deal started.
I think the old car was PCP'd in 2019, so it's been traded in at about 2 years old (hence the £11k negative equity).OP, your options are fairly bleak here - your old car will be gone since it's been 5 weeks, so you'd either need to look at getting a cheaper car, stretch the payments out or trying to make some kind of compromise.I'd probably just wait and see what they come back with. Morally the correct thing to do is to pay the difference and be more careful in future, but legally you may at least be able to delay having to pay anything back for a while which will let you build up some cash to go towards paying it off.5 -

Thanks everyone for your help even those who of you who actually did not offer any genuine advice. I am pleased to say that the vehicle manufacturer dealership worked with me. In the end they reduced the price of the car by over £7K. They were very helpful as I had detailed everything throughout the process and it was human error.3
