Gas Safety check already expired and no action from LL

Hi guys,
I really don't know how to proceed, maybe someone can give me a suggestion, my gas safety check is expired around 1 week ago, i informed the LL 3 times over the last month, and he always answered to don't worry about it, and now we are over the last date reported in the previous certificate. Due to he's in the process of selling the house, it seems he doesn't care to much about what's happening here, is there any action we should do ?

Action as in to protect yourselves from potential CO poisoning or to cause waves for the landlord? If it’s the former make sure you have a working CO alarm and if it’s the latter report him to the HSE.athenianguy75 said:Hi guys,

We have two CO alarm in the flat, one in the kitchen and 1 in the bedroom. Can he eventually serving us a S21 if the gas safety check is not in place?Lover_of_Lycra said:Action as in to protect yourselves from potential CO poisoning or to cause waves for the landlord? In your first thread about the landlord selling the property you were directed to Post 4: Ending/renewing an AST: what happens when a fixed term ends? How can a LL or tenant end a tenancy? What is a periodic tenancy? in the sticky at the top of the board a couple of times. Please read it.athenianguy75 said:

Is it that you don't want to move (genuine question) because if so the landlord has potentially just made life difficult for him/herself0

Of course he can serve it, but in the absence of a valid GSC at the date of service, a court would rule it invalid once it came to the point of him applying for a possession order-and then he would have to start the whole process again.athenianguy75 said:
