Any plumbers? Leaking connector under sink...

I'm not sure what sort of fitting this is or how to replace it. Can anyone points me in the right direction? I think it's the connector to the washing machine or the dish washer. Unfortunately it's been leaking for quite some time now. I can't stop it dribbling by tightening.

- Close the valve.
- Disconnect (unscrew) the hose.
- Check the washer inside the white nut.
- Replace it if needed.

I can't seem to get at the washer. Looks like it's time to replace the whole hose.

It's easy enough and not very expensive to replace both the valve and the hose (which is most likely for a washing machine). If the leak doesn't stop when you tighten the blue handle on the valve then there's a problem with it (and they do fail).
Obviously, the water supply will need to be turned off, and a couple of basic spanners will be needed.

Flat'goat, you need to work out where - exactly - the water is coming from before you try and tackle a repair. You need: paper towel, glasses (specs), a torch, a pillow. The pillow is for the knees.Use the towel to mop up every trace of leak on the fitting. Then settle down with yer glasses on and the torch shinning at the fitting. You should hopefully see where the water appears. Come back and let us know :-)1
