DB pension transferred, now they want some money back

Yes unfortunately the Ombundsman is under-resourced to deal with things in any 'reasonable' timeframe.
The slight up-shot in some cases, perhaps like OP, is the delay at the very least allows more time to plan for the possibility of having to pay a large sum, gain interest/investment return on it in the meantime etc, think what life decisions may need to be made etc. But still, i'm sure would rather have it dealt with in weeks-months rather than months-years.2 -
Any developments on this one? Surely Ombudsman must have deliberated on this by now?1
