I parked at Cuerden Valley Park on the 21/02/21 and spent 1.5 hours there. There was no signage where i parked as it was in a seperate area of the parking (like an overflow). Also no one else was displaying a ticket in that area. Money was also spent on food whilst there.
I received a Parking Charge Notice. After that i reeived a Demand For Payment of Unpaid Charge. I stupidly didnt respond to the first notices and now I have recieved mail from Gladstone Solicitors demanding payment for the following:
Please advise!

Firstly write excoriating stuff on TripAdviser and the park's website. Secondly read the newbies, thirdly, complain to your MP., finally, read this wrt unlawful amounts.
Excel v Wilkinson
At the Bradford County Court, District Judge Claire Jackson (now HHJ Jackson, a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge) decided to hear a 'test case' a few months ago, where £60 had been added to a parking charge despite Judges up and down the country repeatedly disallowing that sum and warning parking firms not to waste court time with such spurious claims. That case was Excel v Wilkinson: G4QZ465V, heard in July 2020 and leave to appeal was refused and that route was not pursued. The Judge concluded that such claims are proceedings with 'an improper collateral purpose'. This Judge - and others who have since copied her words and struck dozens of cases out in late 2020 and into 2021 - went into significant detail and concluded that parking operators (such as this Claimant) are seeking to circumvent CPR 27.14 as well as breaching the Consumer Rights Act 2015. DJ Hickinbottom has recently struck more cases out in that court area, stating: ''I find that striking out this claim is the only appropriate manner in which the disapproval of the court can be shown''.

First task was for you to read the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum here , in announcements
Second task was plan A , landowner complaint
Third task was plan B , appeal to minster Baywatch
Plan C was a Popla appeal
Then it's debt collector stage where you are now
Then it's LBC stage with 30 days notice , the next stage for you in this saga
Finally it's court , within 6 years , when MB instigate a court claim
All you can do now is plan A , then wait for an official formal LBC , followed by a Court claim pack from the CCBC in Northampton
The initial PCN invoice was for £100 , reduced to £60 for early payment , not paid , after 14 days it goes back to £100. It's an invoice , not a fine3 -
We gave you some help with a ParkingEye/hospital case over 3 months ago, yet there's been no feedback from you. Is it concluded? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The solicitors are asking for full payment of the £155 or they will raise a CCJ and then proceed to take me to court and make me pay the fees totaling in an estimated £255Just a Gladstones letter before claim then. What do you need to know that the LBC section of the NEWBIES thread doesn't cover?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
