Mcdonald's/kfc parking fines

Hi,
I'm sorry to be asking when I know this is answered elsewhere, but I have mental health issues (ADHD & depression) and get confused. I had no idea fast food places had time limits. I got a ticket from mcdonald's, a week later I did the same at KFC, but before I was delivered the mcdonald's fine otherwise I'd have been more savvy. I'm really struggling with my mental health at the moment, I'm single and my dog died during lockdown, she was my dad's dog, but he died from leukaemia when she was 1 years old. This dog was special to me. I'm devastated. I went to mcdonald's after work, my vehicle was overheating and after I finished eating and after keeping my emotions in all day at work, I let it go there knowing I'm going back to an empty home, I wasn't in a fit state to drive. I'm never at a fast food place for that long usually. So got the ticket sent through from MET parking. 5 days later same thing happened at KFC with Civil Enforcement ltd. That's £200 total in a week, never left the car. Mcds offer click and serve so you don't have to leave the car during a pandemic. No sign in front of the bay where I parked either.
I've read newbies post etc, I've read that I'm not supposed to own up to being the driver and 1st stop is to complain to the landowner before a challenge, state things like 'the driver' not 'I was'. But if complaining to land owner 1st should I also to them state "the driver was in no fit state to drive, as the driver was crying like a 5 year old"? I've got pics for appeal, on the way in there is a sign saying '90 mins stay' but it faces the traffic coming the opposite way I came, no sign in the bay I used etc receipts for coolant and coolant pipes at the time.
Do I just pay? I'm over 14 days for mcdonald's one (about 19 days as only got the letter 7 days after they have it dated, then had to wait to be approved here), but still within 14 days of KFC one. My car has broke down again, so sister will take me to check KFC signs later today.
Any advice appreciated, and truly sorry for any repetitions and precious time wasting I may cause you wonderful volunteers for your input.

You could have been a passenger in the car. You could have been told this tale of woe by the actual driver. Do not write anything that tells anyone who was driving. Complain to McDonalds and KFC that they are driving away customers. It is not safe to drive whilst eating, hence the driver sat outside the establishment eating their food. Tell them that the driver has enjoyed eating McDonald's/KFC food but unfortunately it will be their last one if every meal comes served with a supplement of £100 and neither you (as keeper) nor the driver nor all you friends and family can afford their food in future.4

Wow! So that's one down it seems. Phoned mcdonald's, said its 1st time it'd happened and had no idea there was a restriction in place. Wasn't a sign in front of my car for click and serve spot. She's asked me for the code and is going to cancel it. So just KFC to go now. (no pun intended)4

DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
