Does Platform [Co-Op] do a final credit check before releasing funds?

My offer was accepted 12 weeks ago and my mortgage was approved with Platform [Co-Op] however last week I was offered a new job that pays 15k more than my current salary and is a huge opportunity. I am wondering if Platform will do a final credit check before releasing the funds and see that I have changed job [if I accept the offer]. Also it feels as though 12 weeks is a long period of time to be waiting, I am a first time buyer and there is no chain so where is the hold up. Can I call my estate agents tomorrow and ask for them to apply pressure on the seller to exchange.
How long do you need to be in employment for a platform mortage, if I was to change jobs would a statement from my new employer stating my salary and position suffice? Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated

Your credit file doesn't say what your current/past/future job or salary is, so any last minute check is irrelevant to that specific point. That said, it will almost certainly be a condition of your mortgage offer to notify the lender of any change in your financial position.0
