Am I correct in thinking that I can use the BBC weather app and the BBC IPlayer?

The Sky News app has a lot of written news but it also has a Live TV section, so can I use that app if I don’t watch the Live TV?  BTW I don’t have a Sky contract.

You definitely need a license to watch bbc i player.

You don't need a licence for:
1. BBC weather app
2. S4C catch up on BBC iPlayer 
3. Sky News app, provided that you don't use the live TV option
