I’m delaying my holiday abroad the second time as not going on a week long holiday to spend 10 days self isolating at home.
My parents said to me that I can choose where to go to stay. It will be in September when the kids will be back at school.
My parents said no to Devon, Cornwall and Lake District.I probably visit them when people are able to go on foreign holidays in a similar fashion to 2019 and before.
I don’t fancy Blackpool, Skegness and similar
Stayed in Shropshire last year and year before in May - Norfolk Broads. Though I live in East Midlands, can visit nearby places in a day.
We will be self catering. Needs to be a two bed place.

My parents and I like walking, exploring places plus my parents are lifelong NT members - so if there’s some NT place nearby or on route, it will good.
Thank you in advance

We explored Suffolk for five days in September last year, and absolutely loved it, having never been before. We based ourselves in Bury St Edmunds first, then moved to the coast, and managed to cover a lot of the county. Thoroughly recommend it. Also agree with Northumberland. Absolutely beautiful, and plenty of castles to visit!0

How about the Brecons area or west wales towards Devils Bridge or Borth . High Peaks Derbyshire . Southport can be suitable as a good base lots of thing within half hour of there . Do you want town or country ?

We're heading to Manchester for a few nights and will hopefully be able to do some theatre shows and maybe a concert by then! We're also looking at visiting Chill Factore whilst we're there too as it seems funny to go in the summer aha! We're hoping to go just before the kids go back to school (all being well!)-1
