Dyson V6 extended warranty

I purchased an extended warranty on my Dyson V6 from Curry's pc world,  this warranty runs until 17/01/2023. I have encountered several problems since purchasing in 2018, these issues were resolved when Dyson had UK staff in call centres,  however when I contact them now I speak to staff in Cape town South Africa,  they have been very pleasant but they promise me a UK engineer will call me to arrange an uplift or repair/replace this model,  I have called them 4 times so far and no engineer has been in touch.
I have tried twice in person to return the item to Curry's in Falkirk,  but they refused to accept it, and state I must deal with Dyson to arrange this.
Curry's insist that the 7 day replacement policy only commences when the item is picked up!!!!!. So in theory this can go on indefinitely.  My receipt is from Curry's and I paid for the extended warranty to Curry's.  So feel my contract is with Curry's and not Dyson? We are old age pensioners and are very frustrated with the after care back up service.
I have lost patience,  I have phoned Curry's also several times and getting nowhere,  so feel that the extra cover payment is taking money from customers without having an adequate maintenance service to deal with these type of faults,  I wonder if other customers have experienced this problem?
I hope enough people complain to get Martin Lewis involved to assist.
Note I have also emailed Curry's customer service and c.e.o Dyson.
Thanks for reading

You've really wasted your money with a five year warranty, as the V6 already comes with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty.
Your warranty will be with a 3rd party insurer, for whom DSG sell the policy in-store, usually at a mark up of around 100% on the price you would pay if you bought it direct.

As above your 5 year warranty is not from Dyson .
You have three routes one Dyson warranty , now out of date .
Two the extended warranty you bought .Check its T&C for repair advice/ contacts etc .
Consumer Rights the law against the vendor .

PS  Martin sold this site many years ago .
