Looking for furniture backing boards

Hi!
I'm looking for these very thin boards used for the backing of wardrobes, e.g. as used by Ikea. I think it's just pressed carton and not wood, usually ~2mm thick? They are quite flexible...
When I'm searching the internet, I only find wooden ones, usually MDF.
Does anyone has a tip where I can find them and/or which term I have to use for searching for them?
Ideally, one side is already white.
Many thanks!

Possibly the weight. What I have in mind (pretty much like the backing boards of Ikea shelfs) is thin, wobbly, and pretty light-weight. MDF might be heavier (yes, and also more 'robust' but I think I don't need the additional robustness)grumbler said:
What's wrong with MDF and why do you think it's worse than "pressed carton" (even if such exists)?
But I may just get one of those MDF sheets and have a look.0 -
Are you not confusing MDF and chipboard?Basically, MDF is "pressed carton" - it's made from the same wooden fibres with more glue/resin added.Ikea's backing boards are MDF.1

Ikea use MDF which is available in 3mm which is light and flexible.andre_xs said:

Aye I think it's just thin fibreboard.0

I'm really old school (I used to justify it with the term traditionalist) so I'm going to be unhelpful and plug plywood.
Unfortunately, unless it's reclaimed, it will be bonded with a modern urea formaldehyde concoction rather than a natural veggie based resin or boiled down horse bones.
Ahh... the good old days. How I miss them.
