Simplicity
Sorry if this has been discussed before. We were with simplicity then British Gas evolve and now I’ve switched to Octopus. Got home from work to have a letter from Credit collector saying I owe £160 to simplicity even though I was paying by direct debit and I thought all the balance was transferred to British Gas? Has anyone else had this? Thanks in advance

If you were in credit with Simplicity then that would have transferred to BG BUT if in debt then the administrators of Simplicity would be expecting settlement . Make sure that they supply you with a final bill, and check that the dates and meter readings are correct , before paying anything.
