Morning all
Pouring with rain here too and set in for the day I think, I have a towel load in the wm which will have to go on the airers overnight, OH can do his work clothes afterwards.
Will have a tidy through this morning and then take the pups out for a walk. I did not do too much yesterday as I had tummy problems again, I am begining to suspect its the new brand of Tamoxifen doing it, Im not sure if I would rather have the headaches which were horrible or the upset tummy which leaves me feeling weak as I cant keep anything in !!
Gers glad you had a good night hopefully with the carers things will settle a bit now xx
Have good days all xx16 -
Morning all, it's awful outside today. I'm glad I did the washing yesterday, it almost dried on the whirly but had to finish it off indoors overnight.Nothing much to report for today except my halogen oven has died after lots of years of service
I didn't think I needed one but it's been invaluable, it was used most days and saved me putting on the big oven. I will have to get a new one unless my handy man can fix it, think he'll need to do open heart surgery on it
Lots of sitting on the sofa is the order for today. I have a book to finish and the end of a very confusing film to watch ( Mr Fix It fell asleep before the end last night so I recorded the rest ) It's directed by by Christopher Nolan and you need all your wits about you just to follow the story line....... so that's me out then 😵 Tea will be leftover tortellini in a hm tomato sauce from the freezer.Bella sorry about your hols being red listed, but I hope DD2 can get her postponed honeymoon.Dumpling enjoy having your visitors today.Healing vibes to all the poorly ones, hugs to anyone in need.Take care all, stay safe and dry today.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently15 -
Good morning, I'm late to the party today. It's a horrible day here as well, raining steadily.Gers, I'm glad that things are quiet for you and your Mum.The window that we were due to have installed yesterday afternoon was put off till this morning, they had had problems with another job yesterday, which made them run late. Anyway the window is now in, looks nice and we can open it. Next big spend will be a new front door possibly, unless we can just have a new lock, and the boiler is staggering along so that'll have to be done. It's never ending - our last boiler was still going after 24 years, was serviced yearly and never needed any repair. We've had this one about 10 years which I'm told is good. Hey ho, rant over.I'd made a circular cushion for a kitchen stool earlier this week but i thought it looked a bit baggy and lumpy ( bit like me) so yesterday I took it apart and remade it so it looks better I think. I've done no more cards but may do some later, but I'm determined to be more focussed and stop changing my mind so much.Hope everyone has a good Saturday, and thoughts to our poorly peopleTake care folks12

Done some sewing today and finished an ordered pair of wrist warmers.
Think I will start on an ordered poncho next.
