  • Isn't it only £49 with Sky directly at the moment anyway??

Yes it's £49 + £30 installation = £79 IF you take out Multiroom And Sky Phone and Sky Broadband.

    otherwise
    £99 + £30 installation + £129 if you order it online.

Currys deal is £29 + £30 installation = £59. Still the best deal going.
  • I can't see how to order it online at that price. Please help!

  • Other threads (also see HotUKdelas) have stated that a call to Sky can get the whole thing fitted for £49 or less. OK that may be for existing customers, but I read an advert in a free papaer last week, and their £129 price had been crossed out and replaced by £49 (and I thought that was the full price, i.e. no extra for fitting).

I reckon it's worth speaking to them in person, saying that you are 'thinking' of getting Sky+ (no multiroom as this costs £10pcm and is a waste of money IMHO), and asking what their best deal is. It costs nothing to call them (check www.saynoto0870.co.uk for details of freephone numbers for Sky CS)
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
    Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
    Shopandscan, £2,840
    Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
    Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700
    British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR1200

They will soon offer you the sun the moon and the stars to stay with sky, including free sky+ with free installation too:T :T :T

Its worked for everyone of my friends and family that I've told to do it:T :T :T

If they ever say they'll cancel then hang up and try another operator. Some are more genorous than others with offers!

Anyone had any luck in still getting this offer.

I've visited Currys in Fosse park (Leics), Coventry and Nottimgham (I work in different offices each day, don;t worry I've not made a special journey for this deal) and so far have been told I have to buy a TV.

Maybe they just don't like my face!.:D
Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.

You MAY get it for free. Loads of people have indeed done this and some have not been as successful.

I have tried it and been offered nothing, so it can be a bit hit and miss.
Worth trying but be nice to have a cheap(ish) fall back.

Believe me even if you do cancel you will still get the free to air channels and they will be on the phone to you within the week pleading with you to come back, Sky are really desperate for customers at present and will do anything to hold on to there existing ones;)
