Hello looking for some advise here. I was discharged from a Trust Deed (Scotland) 3 years ago and recently received a letter from Clydesdale Bank advising that after a review of a successfull PPI claim made in 2016 (by my practioner) I am due a further payout. In this letter they have included an acceptance form that asks for my bank details for the payment - the original claim in 2016 did not include this as the payment was going to my trust deed. Am I entitled to this money now that I have been discharged and the debt written off?

I don`t know if the Green v Wright case is applied to trust deeds or not.
I cannot find clarity anywhere, have you a letter from your practitioner stating they have no further interest in your case ?

If so, then you are covered, if not, then anything is possible, i would either, bite the bullet, contact your practitioner, after you have claimed the money, and see what they say, it may be open to some negotiation if they do want it, or, take the money, and your chances, and see what blows your way.

Thanks for responding and advise. I've not had any contact from my practioner since being discharged in 2018. In my discharge papers the original PPI payment was listed as it was paid directly to the practioner in 2016 but Clydesdale bank have since reviewed the claim and advised i am due a further payout (almost £8.5k) I called Clydesdale and they are now reviewing whether the payment goes to the practioner now!
