Morning all
Bright and sunny here and hopefully warmer than it has been. I had my nails done yesterday and spent an hour putting the world to rights with my nail lady, I then nipped round to vote it all seemed very covid secure with hand wash stations and someone cleaning the pencils between uses. I came home and cooked a roast which was lovely.
Today I have the hospital appointment (which I was a week early for last week) and after that I will nip round and pick up the click and collect from Aldi get home and put that awayand then take the dogs out for a walk.
Might do filled pasta for dinner with salad which is nice and easy, I think dd is off out for dinner with a friend so just OH and I here.
Snoozer I am glad Steve is home xx
Gers Im glad mum had a settled night xx
Thinking of Marie as always x
Have good days all xx

So glad that you have the carers sorted out Gers. At least you can have a bit of structure to your day. It makes life a bit easier when it's not all ifs and buts.
Pleased that Steve is back snoozer. Even more pleased that you are going to get you trip to Yorkshire. There must have been times when you wondered if that would ever happen.
TA, when I had cats I used to wonder if there was a way of spinning cat's fur, there seemed to be clumps of it wherever I looked. I used to put it out in the garden, I think birds used it to line their nests. I bet they smirked mightily to know that they were snuggled up in warm blankets provided by their sworn enemies.
Enough! I have work to do. A corner of my garden that has been the dumping ground for miscellaneous rubbish for far too long is due to be tidied up. We will see if that actually happens, I'm far to warm and comfortable where I am at the moment. It will need a certain amount of teeth gritting to get me out there.

Hello all, didn't get on yesterday as Dad was here all day. He went home a happy bunny with a spare portion of faggots and peas, sandwiches and a sporting a new haircut. Spent some time watching a baby sparrow on the patio this morning, perhaps it fell out of the nest because it certainly couldn't fly and mummy bird was flying about, probably panicking. Lost sight of it in the shrubbery, I hope it's ok.Today we've been over to the caravan to take the fixed items back and we were going to take the cover off, open the windows and let some fresh air in, but foiled again as it started to rain and trying to put the cover back on a wet van is a no-no. So we're back home and the rain shower has stopped, so I have put a wash on and there's another waiting in the wings. Don't know how the basket goes from empty to full without me noticing, must be a magic basket 😁 We're not supposed to have any rain so I have to make a decision whether to put it out or not. This afternoon I shall get all the van stuff out and give it a clean, it's dusty because we haven't needed it for quite a while but I hope we can get away later this year, it depends on how Mr Fix It get on.Right washing finished, no more dithering...... it's going out !Snoozer great news that Steve is home, enjoy your away break.Gers hope you and Mum have a peaceful day.TA glad you enjoyed going wild in the aisles 🛒 Comes to something when food shopping can get you excited !Hugs to the poorly ones, especially Nels and Marie. Good luck to those with appointments.Take care all, stay safe.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently15

Back home from giving my blood sample, all very efficient, we were early so came out before I was due in iyswim. Beautiful morning for a drive through some of England's best countryside. I got some food to go from the SM where we topped up with fuel and we ate it at a great viewpoint seeing as far as the Brecon Beacons in one direction also some of Worcs, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire. I have loved visiting countries abroad,,but love the British Isles so much too.
I hope the dental appointment is not too much Gers, well done on getting the 5 star. Treatment yesterday.
OH tells me the caravan is open and awaiting my delivery of selected high fashion (not) to be worn next week, better scoot. Take care all.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)10 -
Sat in the vicarage garden to have a chat with the vicar this morning.
My sister called here with 12 chicken and 6 free range duck eggs from my niece. Love duck eggs.
Nearly finished the last pair of wrist warmers that are on my list.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
