fraudulent item, paypal refund keeps getting cancelled and ebay case closed?

urghhh the lady i spoke to at ebay sent me an email and i made the mistake of replying with a query. another ebay employee has picked the email up replied and closed the case again. i feel like i'm banging my head against the wall.

It sounds really frustrating but don't lose hope. PayPal will cover for you for 6 months since purchase so there's enough time to get through with PayPal. Of course the earlier the better. I doubt your seller would do this echeck cycle for the next 6 months just to keep the money and delay everything. It's sounds like an aweful lot of work for £300-400...

Unfortunately eBay is terrible at going back on their decision and more than likely everytime you contact them it will be someone else looking at your case... If you feel like trying with eBay again you can do that and if not getting anywhere just call PayPal up and have an advisor open a Dispute for you. It will take time though for a case to finalise with PayPal and for them to come to a decision so hopefully you don't need that money right away.

yes it's a nightmare. but i'm hopeful, i'm just waiting for the current echeque to fail and then will get straight back on to paypal initially. thanks for the advice!
