Business insurance for an indie game developer?

Hi.
Been looking around to get a ball-park figure for business insurance for a game developer.
I understand that there are a lot of variables, and that the price will depend on these variables, but thought I'd ask to see if anyone had any insight into this.
I've looked at quite a few insurers, and they have "quote systems" that you can use to get a quote, but all these require a lot of personal data like Email and Phone numbers, which I'm not prepared to divulge until I'm ready to start trading (I can only imagine the spam/calls I'll get from all directions once I do
)
A few pieces of info to help:
1 person
No public premises
Selling game software created by 1 person
Sole Trader
Was recently told that Professional Indemnity Insurance is what I'd need, which sounds about right.
Just need to get a ball-park figure while I'm working out my start-up costs.
Cheers.

Your required scope of cover will depend on the risk. You may need Employers Liability, Public Liability, Products Liability, Professional Indemnity Insurance & Cyber Insurance - depending on your circumstances.
Sounds like you have already spoken with an expert - might be worth asking them for an approximate premium for your requirements.
Many Professional Indemnity insurers will not cover game manufacturers, as they see the risk as being much higher than an IT consultant. I would imagine that a Professional Indemnity premium may be around £1000, but could be more/less than this, depending on all sorts of information (including annual turnover, lever of cover required etc)
My recommendation would be to obtain an exact quotation. If the provider(s) that you have selected to quote require your email/phone number, you may need to wait until such time as you are willing to release this.
Hope this helps
