Morning all.
After yesterday spent in the church/farm shop I was exhausted so plan a nice quiet day today. I may clear out the fridge, or I may not. I will go down and vote, but only because I feel I have no right to complain about the council if I've done nothing to try to put things right. Would feel happier if I felt that it would make the slightest bit of difference, but that's just being cynical.
Gers, I'm so glad that you are surrounded by such kind people. We hear so much about the rude, uncaring sort that the majority of nice, normal, kind and helpful people don't get much attention. However, as you are finding, given a sad situation or a real need and the angels come out of the woodwork.
Enjoy your shopping expedition TA.
So glad that you feel a bit better dumpling and enjoy your ready-meals. Don't beat yourself up, there is no particular virtue in wearing a hair shirt.
Hope Steve can spend tonight in his own bed, snoozer.
When you have finished your clutter-spotting taff, you might like to come and have a go at mine. It's not difficult, the clutter is clamouring for attention.
Sorry, mind's gone blank.
Hope everyone finds something to enjoy today.I believe that friends are quiet angels

I am definitely losing it!
Was worried because new washing machine was being delivered today and not had the night before notification. Checked this morning and it is coming - next Thursday! Mr F is booked for second jab next Thursday.
I have an ordered pair of wrist warmers to finish and sewing to finish.
Voted by post - brought up to always use my vote.

I thought I'd go out and vote before it rained- the winds getting up a bit after a bright start.Anyway am back now- we go to an old Victorian school not far away but it was all slightly different due to one way systems etc. and I went through the wrong exit door. Luckily one of the staff spotted me otherwise I could have been lost for hours in all the different corridors
Monna that's why I vote too

Just a quick late hello from me, I did not get my new laptop back (all set up), until late.
Hugs and spoons to all that need them.
I have to be in Birmingham before 1100 hours tomorrow for some particular blood tests they need (routine), a cross country journey, an early night might be a good idea. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)5
