How long will it take to receive an International Bank transfer?

Hi there,

A company are sending my money as a resolution to a dispute. They're based in Malta, I'm based in UK. They said they had "wired" the money at 10.30am UK time today, when should I expect to receive the money?

They said they had sent it from a Barclays account (assume Barclays International) and mine is a Barclays UK account, so I thought I might've received it by now.

Within a few hours of transmission. I'd be very surprised.

Thanks for your response, are you saying its abnormal not to have received it by now (6 hours)? Was wondering if it might process overnight.

Might take just a few hours, might take a couple of working days. There are no committed timescales for international money transfers.
