A header tank is in the attic and fills with cold water. Usually to fill hot water cylinders.
It is unusual to supply a combi which normally is supplied my mains pressure cold.
Turning of mains pressure cold will stop any normal combi supplying hot to taps. And also no mains pressure cold to supplied cold taps.
