Alton Towers Free Carers tickets when ordering Tesco clubcard tickets

Options
Like many places, Alton Towers does a free carers ticket for disabled people. But if you book through Tesco clubcard, you cant select one. Normally this wouldn't be an issue as Alton Towers can issue you with a carers ticket at the gates, but with COVID, they only have limited numbers so  you have to prebook your tickets to guarantee entry. I spent ages trying to get in contact with their Helpline to get advice on how to do this because on the booking page, you can only select one if you also select a full price ticket. Eventually I got through and it was explained to me how to reserve a ticket:
Go to this link: https://www.altontowers.com/tickets-passes/day-passes/pre-book-reservation/ to reserve a place - you still wont be able to select carers ticket without an error, but you can select a normal ticket and reserve it for free this way and then they will sort it out on the gate when you get there.
I hope this helps. Happy Themeparking!
