NS&I investment

I have NS&I growth fund maturity in mid May.I am interested in their Green Bond but no information available as yet.If I leave my Bond it is fixed for another 12 months at low low rate.
Why don't NS&I allow you to transfer to Green Bond or withdraw at that point.
I'm going to have to move my investment otherwise?

That's how fixed term bonds work, the term is fixed. You could move it to a Direct Saver at 0.15% (or your nominated bank) in the meantime

Without further details from NS&I it is all speculation. We don't know when it will go on sale ("Later in 2021" could mean anything) or for how long or how much you will be able to save. Do you have premium bonds?0

There must be a lot of folks ,like me with these fixed bonds ,just hoping they pick this up and give us chance to invest , instead of going through pain of moving my investment. Lets see if martin picks it up and get them to see sense

I think you may overestimate (a) Martin Lewis's influence and (b) his likely level of interest in a niche scenario of little relevance to most!abundantearth said:There must be a lot of folks ,like me with these fixed bonds ,just hoping they pick this up and give us chance to invest , instead of going through pain of moving my investment. And also overestimating the attention Martin pays to this forum - which I doubt is very high on his to-do list.eskbanker said:

Green bonds aren't due until the summer. That was the announcement in the budget.abundantearth said:There must be a lot of folks ,like me with these fixed bonds ,just hoping they pick this up and give us chance to invest , instead of going through pain of moving my investment.
