Check Eligibility - Experian; Amex

Hello everyone again,
I wanted to ask:
Using the tool offered by Experian, he tells me I'm eligible for an 80% Amex.
But on the Amex site he takes me to platinum, basic and 3.5 / 10 and the other 2/10, why? And which of the 2 should I believe?

Thank You

    Sorry for mistake:

    Platium and Basic = 3.5/10
    Other = 2/10

    The Amex site will be more accurate.
  • Experian get money from referral links so it's always likely they will push you towards following the link and applying so may well tell you a more optimistic figure than Amex directly. Amex issue the card not Experian so their prediction will always be more reliable

     You can read it this way - Amex or any other direct lender eligibility check ( does not really matter which one as long a it's a direct site ) vs experian, MSE , moneysupernarket ,Johny down the pub or any other comparison site.
     Amex said  - we CHECKED you against our own internal criteria  and you chances are quite low.
     Comparison site said -  we THINK that Amex might want your business with this much probability ( with no way of knowing their internal criteria or desired customer ).

    I recently applied and accepted via Experian.
    Any comparison sites or eligibility sites including providers such as Amex are no guarantee of success.
    OP your results seem to be lower , allow a few months before applying.
