The company will be forced into administration by HMRC.   They take no prisoners when companies are "taking the ****"

I mentioned it to my manager this morning on her return and she said they will have to understand and make another payment arrangement and understand we cant pay.. What else can they do.  Shrugged her shoulders and walked off....

I wouldn't be mentioning it to your manager, it's beyond that.  I'd be mentioning it to the powers that be and let them deal with it/her.
Get yourself out.  The last thing you want is a previous job where you were involved in the bookeeping/finance/invoicing whatever and were with the company when it was done over for fraud.  Get out before it all crumbles.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

Your employer smacks of a business just waiting for the right time to go bust. You don't have much to lose by going sick and then resigning. As already said nobody but you will look after your interests. Little point here in drawing out all the flaws etc you already know all that.
Best of luck in whatever your decision is.

I would go to your gp or contact them via their online service if that's how they are doing it. I think you need time away. If they try to guilt trip you don't give into them. They seem like the kind of people who would. Get hunting for another job because it sounds like this place will collapse but the stress and pressure your going to collapse before they do. Sounds like they don't care at all.

If it was my partner I would tell him to write a diary of what's happened. Then you have evidence of things going on if anything does happen.

I have applied for 3 jobs, enrolled with 3 agencies so far.  I am waiting to hear off them to see if i have an interview.  Any ideas what to say why I am leaving ? If i get any of the interviews?

And I spoke to the director whom i have known for 20 yrs or so who is in charge of the main agency, I have worked on and off in temp roles and she has placed me before.  She said it would not be good to go sick as I would have to explain to potential employers why I am off sick.  Which would make it worse for me.  So I am trying my hardest to stick it for a week or 2 at the most I hope! God I hope something comes up even temporary soon.

He is guilt tripping you. If future employers ask tell them the truth of that the past workplace put so much pressure on you by conducting things illegally that it made you ill.

This director is the director of the agency that placed me there a yr and 5 mths ago.  Would they be trying to keep me there even though they now know the circumstances and situation was what they put me in? And they placed me there and this company had been made insolvent 2 yrs before under a very similar name. Would thisagency be worried im letting the cat out the bag? And a yr and 5 mths later if i leave would they have to pay some of my fee back.

Obviously they were paid a fee for placing me in this permanent job. Or is the time lapsed where they would be liable to pay back some of it.
