Purple is my favourite colour I_A! :D I had a big block of bright red put in about 5 years ago when Ihad it cut quite short and it looked fab.

I've decided - I'm having it done. I had a good old poke around my mop and decided I like having lighter bits in it so I'm saying sod it and I'm treating myself. :D

I am on an MSE mission this afternoon though - which might save me £20. I bought a string of all singing all dancing multi function lights from Tesco for £20 on Thursday.

Went to my ex's house to pick up Charlie and he was sorting the tree etc out. There were 3 sets of lights in the box, 1 set very knackered and definitely not working so dumped, 1 set which worked and 1 set where the green and blue lights don't work. they are a multi function set (like the ones I've just bought) and he said he would dump them unless I wanted them. So I had them :D I've sat and looked at them and 2 of the white fuse bulbs have gone, so I just need to find some replacement fuse bulbs. I think I've found some online but I might pop to B+Q to see if they have any. It will cost me about £1 or so and if they work I can take the £20 set back to Tesco for a refund :T . Not sure what the rules are though if I've chucked the receipt

It showed my old ways though - all the sets were bought when we were together - mad that we bought a new set just because the fuse bulbs went....... How stupid is that?? :o

Snaggles - that is amazing news and whilst it is best to take things a day at at time, I'm keeping absolutely everything crossed.

What a waste of a journey. B+Q aren't selling spare bulbs any more - instead they have set up (wait for it) 'Christmas Light Hospital' for providing spare bulbs for B+Q sets..........so I came back empty handed as they aren't a set from B+Q.

Flamin' Nora.........I was just about to say I'll chance it with this set I've found at online garden centre before I went to B+Q (made by NOMA) and looked at the control handset on the lights and it says in great white letters 'NOMA'.....definitely a wasted journey - I'd found the right ones already!!

Still 2 choices of fuse bulbs though - 3.5v or 6v.......50/50.......

Snaggles, I have my fingers well and truly crossed for your sister.

IA, the questions were not exactly difficult, but you had 4 questions in 20 seconds so it was the combination of the time pressure and the unearthly hour of the morning which was tough!

Questions were things like.....name the captain of the England Football Team.......what does 4WD stand for on the back of a car (durr....) and where on a man would you find a six pack.....:rotfl:

    In his shopping trolley...........:D

After doing much looking and comparing and Sherlock Holmes'ing, I reckon I've found the type I need for the lights. It's going to cost £1.25 so I'm going to splash out and buy the fuse pack and a spare coloured bulb pack, so £2.50 plus postage. If all goes well I'm going to try to return the Tesco lights.

Good luck with the lights Keren and relax and enjoy the hairdo - if it makes you feel better then it'll help in loads of other MS ways as you won't feel tempted to splurge to cheer yourself up.
Hope all goes well with your sis snaggles, she must be delighted.
