Reciprocating saw Blade for Dismantling Pallets

Options
I'm going to make a garden table and have got some wooden pallets which need dismantling. I've got a DeWalt Reciprocating saw but I'm unsure of the best blade to use in it. I've read that I should use one for Metal, but I can also find them for Metal and wood. Does anyone know which is best? Thanks.

Yes Metal is the way to go. Nails are hardend so you need a metel blade with fine tooth blade. Anything else will just go blunt & be a waste of time & money

If you're going to be hitting nails during the dismantling, use a metal blade.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

I chop up hundreds of pallets a year for my wood burner.
Do NOT try to cut through any nails used on a pallet with any saw blade.
Most of the nails used in pallet construction are specially hardened nails used in nail guns.
Dismantle the pallets using a pry bar & then knock the nails out.

I'd say it'd be much faster with a hammer and pry bar anyway

hammer and pry bar will brake most boards
If the pallets are with cubic 'spacers' and a hummer doesn't work,  I'd try a big angle grinder

I use a metal angle grinder to grind down nail/staple heads. Use an old metal disc - it gets gummed up a bit with burnt wood resin.
I then use either a 4" flat bladed electricians chasing-chisel to prise the planks off or an old bit of 3x2 in the gap and a club hammer leaving the nail stems in the blocks
Depending on the pallet construction I usually get one side or the other of the plank fairly damage free.
