Is this a limited company or a sole trader? If the former, are they still trading, are they listed at CH? Do you have a contact address for them, or registered company address? You need to stop calling and texting: send an LBA and then small claims process. Do they have any recoverable assets?
Without an address for service, you can go nowhere. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!0 -
I believe you claim for the cost of the new builder which is more than what you paid the cowboy builder; ie if the cowboy charged you £3 and it costs £5 to fix and complete the job, you make a claim for the £5k off the cowboy builderBe happy, it's the greatest wealth0

I wouldn’t start any claim process until you get a final bill from new builder; I believe you have upto 6 years to claim from the cowboy.
you don’t want to claim for £4K for example if the final bill is £7k iyswimBe happy, it's the greatest wealth0
