No reply from appeal and just a larger fine to pay

Hi ,
I received a parking fine from a private parking company for a over stay in Tescos carpark , my fault as I left my van there and walked home as I live about 50 yards from there (Incident date 03/02/21) just habit as I never drive there.
I did appeal through the correct channels via there website on the 09/02/21when I received fine through the post and I've had no correspondence from them until this Saturday just gone (01/05/21 with another letter saying I now owe full amount plus extras .
I have emailed them asking why I wasn't notified about the appeal being refused and not really expecting a reply as I would of paid the original fine if I'd of known about the outcome of appeal and I've also have no verification number either from them If I wanted to take it further , so just wondering what people thoughts are on this .
Thank you for reading

It is not a fine, please read the newbies and complain to your MP.

You haven't been fined - it is a speculative invoice.  Who sent the letter that you received on Saturday?  Was it a debt collector giving you 14 days to pay?  If so they are powerless.  If it was a letter before/of claim giving you 30 days to respond or pay, then expect a claim form from Northampton CCBC.  Do you have your original PCN? If not submit a SAR to the PPC.  All advice is contained in the NEWBIE sticky on page one of the forum - even acronyms.

OMG this would have been so easy to win with one email, had you come here first.

We assume it is APCOA or Highview.  Easy to beat, had you NOT appealed saying who parked.  But you've blown that now, so ignore them unless a court claim arrives. APCOA never sue, for example.

Horizon can't hold the registered keeper liable either.  But did you appeal and tick 'driver' (exactly what you shouldn't do)?  We need to know.

This is all explained in the NEWBIES thread, and the tedious debt demand stage is also covered in post #4 of that sticky thread.

I would of paid the original fine
I have no idea why people think this invoice is a fine and why on earth they would have paid the scam.  This is why PPCs exist, because victims think it's a fine and reckon they should pay.  Why don't people come here earlier and stop being scammed?

    Puzzle time:
Get a communication saying that someone has won some money and they automatically think it's a scam.

Get a communication saying that you owe money/need to pay and people automatically panic and consider paying up.

Either which one, always check and research before doing something/ contacting whoever sent the communication.
