Postcode lottery

Postcode lottery have cancelled my account, without telling me, at end of February...
No payments have been taken and (luckily) no winnings missed
But reason appears to be a change in procedures (We used to pay with VISA and they are now requiring a DD) Why didn't they tell us, rather than just cancelling the account ?

Have you checked that they did not actually try to tell you (eg emails which have gone into junk)? Also, how often do you log into the account?
