The price of tests is coming down all the time. Also we don’t know what the requirements for when you come home will be. It may be that you won’t need so many tests or will be able to use the cheaper lateral flow tests.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. have you read the entry requirements for Aruba, including having to buy a specific insurance for your stay? This is in addition to any travel insurance you may have.

Is it with TUI? They are the main charter player to Aruba from the UK (although nothing to what the size of their ex Holland programme is) . If TUI here are your options - https://www.tui.co.uk/destinations/info/summer-2021-bookings0

The bottom line is you need some extra funding, whether it be Credit Cards or a loan from family or friends, Bank overdraft (Crowd Funding) you do not want to be stuck on the other side of the world with no money, hopefully Boris will give you a clearer idea of the amount of tests (if any) that will be needed on the 17th May, letting you plan the costing better, there is a list of Antigen and PCR Tests costs in Aruba online starting @ $40pp. Otherwise explain/lie to your tour operator that one or both of you can’t go until a later date and they might be sympathetic.0

If you booked your holiday with TUI, they have just announced cheap PCR tests, I am sure the other travel companies will follow suit.0

All the doom mongers, revelling in the additional costs for holidaymakers, are going to be extremely upset as we take to the skies with minimal additional costs.0 -
Unless you test positive before returning to the UK and can't travel for however long you have to quarantine...

Eurofins have been doing PCR tests for less than £45 for weeks. Surely you can beg/borrow that much to save your dream holiday?0
