Tax credit: Christmas payments

hi all does anybody know when tax credit is going to be paid as mine is due on wednesday 26th december or is the information on they website 
knowing my luck it will be paid after christmas just like my wages are

well as the 25th and 26th of dec are bank holidays i would have thought they would be paid to you on the 24th or before as i have always had my payments paid before when they fall on a bank holiday.
