    Hi Lizd31

Not sure if it is 4 or 5 generations - the business is currently run by two of Charles Petitt's great great Grandsons. Charles started the business in the 1870's - https://www.tusting.co.uk/our-story/history-of-tusting/

John Tusting, a merchant, married Charles Pettit's daughter Elizabeth Pettit they had a son named Jack Tusting. The business is currently run by Jack's grandchildren.

So the Tusting involvement in the business begins with John Tusting marrying Elizabeth Petitt and John Tusting is the current owners great grandfather which would make it 4 generations of Tustings.

It is only 5 if we include Elizabeth's father Charles Pettit who is not a Tusting.

I don't know - I tend to say I've worked for my company for 21 years even though it was called something different when I started.  In fact it's been called three different things.
